Rugby Player Keven Appo Charged With Assault

Keven Appo, a 25-year-old rugby league player for Bradford Bulls and Papua New Guinea international, has been charged with multiple sexual offences, including rape and sexual assault. Following these charges, which stem from an investigation by the Calderdale District Adult Protection Team initiated after a report in April 2024, Bradford Bulls have terminated his contract. A club spokesperson stated that they are currently seeking a quality replacement for Appo. He has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on January 6.
