The Indian duo, who are third-seeded and reigning Asian Games champions, dominated the match in just 38 minutes, solidifying their position at the top of the group. Their victory came after they had already qualified for the quarterfinals due to the withdrawal of a competing pair and the losses of another. The quarterfinal draw is scheduled for Wednesday, while the Indonesian pair also advanced by finishing second in the group. Additionally, earlier in the day, Indian shooters Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won a bronze medal, marking India's second medal at the Games. The French pair of Lucas Corvee and Ronan Labar were eliminated after losing both their matches in the group stage.
