Several notable Italian restaurants have recently closed or are undergoing transitions across the U.S. and abroad. In Vancouver's Olympic Village, Gusto A Taste of Italy closed after six years, with a new Italian restaurant Onda by Casereccio Foods set to open soon, bringing fresh pasta and artisanal gelato to the area. In Glasgow’s west end, the popular Zizzi Italian restaurant closed suddenly amid ongoing financial pressures on the hospitality industry, with other locations still open in the city. After two decades, Guerriero’s in Morristown, New Jersey, known for home-style Neapolitan Italian dishes, also closed with the family-owned restaurant expressing gratitude to its loyal patrons and hinting at potential future endeavors.
