Celebrity Peer Lord Brocket Charged with Rape, Assault in London, East Sussex

Lord Charles Brocket, a 73-year-old aristocrat known for finishing fourth on the 2004 series of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault by penetration. The charges stem from incidents involving the same woman, with the sexual assault alleged to have occurred on May 5 in Warbleton, East Sussex, and the rapes on August 10 in Fulham, west London. Brocket was arrested on August 29 and appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on August 30, where he did not enter a plea but denied the allegations. He was granted bail with conditions, including a GPS tag and an exclusion zone within the M25, and is scheduled to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on September 26. The victim is being supported by specialist police officers. The case remains ongoing, with Brocket represented by lawyer Henry Milner.
