Redwood City Police Arrest Two in $200K Rug Store Burglary, Third Suspect Sought

Two men, Faustino Dennis Ayala and Scott William Llewellyn, were arrested by Redwood City police for allegedly stealing between $150,000 and $200,000 worth of merchandise from the Medallion Rug Outlet on June 1. Surveillance footage showed three suspects involved in the commercial burglary, but only Ayala and Llewellyn have been apprehended so far, with the third suspect still at large. Ayala was found at a local encampment where a substantial amount of stolen property was recovered, and both men were booked into the San Mateo County Maguire Correctional Facility on multiple charges including commercial burglary, conspiracy, and prior theft convictions, with an enhancement for property loss over $65,000.
