'A Complete Unknown' Wins Best Picture at AARP Movies for Grownups Awards

The 24th Annual AARP Movies for Grownups Awards recognized the best in film and television for older audiences during a ceremony hosted by Alan Cumming at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. 'A Complete Unknown,' a biopic about Bob Dylan, won Best Picture and Best Time Capsule, while Demi Moore and Adrien Brody took home the Best Actress and Best Actor awards for their performances in 'The Substance' and 'The Brutalist,' respectively. Jacques Audiard was honored as Best Director for 'Emilia Pérez.' The awards, originally scheduled for January 11 but postponed due to wildfires in Los Angeles, included a Career Achievement Award for Glenn Close. 'Shōgun' won Best TV Series, continuing its streak of victories at various awards shows. Proceeds from the event will support local wildfire recovery efforts.
