Razgatlioglu Wins Dramatic Donington WorldSBK Race

Toprak Razgatlioglu won Race 1 at the 2025 UK WorldSBK round in Donington Park, finishing 6.5 seconds ahead of championship leader Nicolo Bulega, with Danilo Petrucci taking third after starting ninth. Alex Lowes, who had been fastest in FP3 and started from the front row, crashed out while leading the race. Several riders—including Alvaro Bautista, Sam Lowes, Yari Montella, Tommy Bridewell, and Tito Rabat—retired due to crashes. In the earlier Superpole session, Bulega qualified second behind the pole-sitter, while Lowes secured Bimota’s second consecutive front row start and Jonathan Rea claimed his best qualifying result of the season in fourth. Bulega maintains a nine-point lead over Razgatlioglu in the championship standings. Razgatlioglu’s victory marks his tenth WorldSBK win at Donington.
