Dylan Guenther Injured; Josh Doan Recalled

Dylan Guenther, a leading forward for the Utah Hockey Club, is out indefinitely due to a lower-body injury sustained during a match against the Florida Panthers. Guenther, who has scored 16 goals and amassed 34 points in 40 games this season, is a crucial player for Utah, having signed an eight-year, $57.14 million contract in September. His injury adds to Utah's challenges, as the team has already been missing key defensemen. In his absence, Utah has recalled Josh Doan from their AHL affiliate, Tucson Roadrunners. Doan, the son of former NHL player Shane Doan, has been productive in the AHL, with eight goals and 21 points in 25 games. The team hopes Doan will fill the gap left by Guenther's injury.
