Espargaro, who is retiring at the end of the season, will start on the front row alongside Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini. Bagnaia's pole attempt was disrupted by a helmet issue, and he expressed frustration over the incident. Jorge Martin, currently second in the championship standings, showed strong performance in practice sessions and will start fourth. Marc Marquez, a six-time MotoGP champion, will start the race from seventh position. Espargaro's pole is his second of the season and seventh of his career.
