Adani Energy Solutions Acquires Pune-III Transmission

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has acquired 100% of Pune-III Transmission Ltd (PTL) from PFC Consulting Ltd for ₹10 per share, marking a strategic move to enhance its transmission infrastructure and support renewable energy projects. The acquisition, formalized on November 19, 2024, will involve the establishment of new substations and a transmission line of 816 ckm, aimed at evacuating 7 GW of renewable energy from the Khavda RE Park in Gujarat. The total acquisition cost is reported at ₹1 lakh, with the deal aligning with AESL's growth strategy of increasing shareholder value through both organic and inorganic growth. PFC, which transferred PTL, noted that the transaction would have a negligible impact on its financial performance while facilitating the development of renewable energy infrastructure in India. This acquisition solidifies AESL's commitment to expanding its role in the renewable energy sector.
