Ravindra Jadeja Joins BJP Membership Drive

Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), following in the footsteps of his wife, Rivaba Jadeja, who is an MLA representing the Jamnagar assembly seat. Rivaba announced her husband's membership on social media, sharing images of their BJP membership cards. This move comes as the BJP has launched a nationwide membership campaign aimed at enrolling over 2 crore people in Gujarat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the campaign earlier this week, taking his membership on September 2. Ravindra Jadeja recently retired from T20 cricket after the World Cup 2024 but will continue to play in ODIs and Test matches for India. The couple has actively supported the BJP in previous elections, with Jadeja participating in various campaign activities alongside his wife.
