Recent anti-drug operations in the Philippines have led to significant arrests and drug seizures across multiple regions. In Negros Occidental, three individuals were apprehended with over P200,000 worth of suspected shabu, while an additional operation in San Enrique resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of P1.3 million worth of drugs. Meanwhile, in Zamboanga del Sur, two suspects were arrested with P3.4 million worth of shabu, following a buy-bust operation supported by local police. Concurrently, a drug den was dismantled in Zamboanga City, leading to the arrest of six individuals and the confiscation of P380,800 worth of illegal drugs. Authorities are moving forward with charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 against those arrested in all operations. These efforts reflect ongoing campaigns to combat illegal drug trafficking in the region.
