Multiple Teams Advance to 2025 Little League World Series

The 2025 Little League World Series is set to begin on August 13 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, featuring 20 teams from around the world, including the Great Lakes, Southeast, Puerto Rico, Asia-Pacific, Australia, Caribbean, Europe-Africa, Japan, and Panama regions. Nevada's Summerlin South Little League team secured their place in the tournament by winning the Mountain Region championship with a 6-3 victory over Utah, remaining undefeated in the regional tournament. This marks the third consecutive year that a Southern Nevada team will compete in the Little League World Series, following Henderson in 2023 and Paseo Verde in 2024. Summerlin South is one of ten U.S. teams participating in the annual event, which draws young baseball players from diverse regions to compete on a global stage.
