Celtic Connections Announces 2025 Festival Lineup

The Into Film Festival, the largest of its kind in Scotland, will host up to half a million students and teachers, featuring screenings of classic films and educational insights from industry talents. This year's opening event will showcase the animated film 'Kensuke’s Kingdom' at Edinburgh Zoo, with additional events reaching remote areas through the digital mobile cinema, Screen Machine. Meanwhile, the Celtic Connections festival will run from January 16 to February 2, 2025, in Glasgow, featuring around 300 events with 1,200 musicians and artists from over 20 countries, marking its 32nd year. The festival will include diverse genres and discounted tickets for under-26s, emphasizing its growth from a local to a national and international event. Additionally, the Hampton Court Palace Festival will return for its 29th year from June 10-21, 2025, with Manchester band Elbow as one of the first announced headliners, alongside other yet-to-be-revealed artists. The festival will offer a luxury picnic option, enhancing the experience for attendees at this historic venue.
