Aphex Twin Plans Expanded Reissue of Polygon Window Album

Aphex Twin, the alias of Richard D. James, has announced an expanded reissue of his 1993 album 'Surfing On Sine Waves,' the only full-length release under his Polygon Window moniker. The reissue, set for release on September 26, combines the original album with additional tracks from the 1993 'Quoth' EP, including 'Bike Pump Meets Bucket,' 'Quoth (Wooden Thump Mix),' and 'Iketa,' and also features previously unreleased songs like 'Portreath Harbour' and 'Redruth School.' Originally released as the second entry in Warp Records' influential Artificial Intelligence series, the album was a significant moment in electronic music and debuted at #2 on the UK dance charts. The expanded edition will be available on vinyl, CD, and cassette, with special packaging options including clear and black 3xLP vinyl and polylined inner sleeves. This release follows Aphex Twin's recent projects such as the surprise compilation 'Music From The Merch Desk (2016-2023)' and a 191-track playlist curated for Supreme in 2025. The reissue offers fans both new and old a chance to explore a pivotal work in Warp Records' catalog and Aphex Twin's creative legacy.
