Jamestown Man Arrested After Police Chase

Nicholas Brown, a 34-year-old man from Jamestown, was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase early Sunday morning. The chase began when officers attempted to pull him over for multiple traffic violations, during which he nearly struck several police officers. It ended when Brown collided head-on with a New York State Trooper vehicle, an unrelated parked car, and then a Jamestown Police vehicle. After the crash, he resisted arrest and fought with officers before being taken into custody. Brown faces multiple charges, including three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and resisting arrest, and is being held in Chautauqua County Jail without bail due to his prior criminal history.
