Tennessee Senator Ken Yager Arrested for DUI

Tennessee State Senator Ken Yager, 77, was arrested for DUI after being involved in a hit-and-run crash in Georgia. Witnesses reported seeing his Ford Edge, which had Tennessee license plates, in the parking lot of Jekyll Market, where he had tripped and fallen. Video footage shows Yager struggling during a field sobriety test, which was interrupted when officers noted he had urinated on himself. He admitted to consuming alcohol earlier and registered a breath alcohol content of 0.14 during a breathalyzer test. Yager has been charged with DUI, hit-and-run, and failing to stop at a stop sign, and he referred to the incident as an 'unfortunate situation' while cooperating with authorities. After posting a bond of $2,117, he was released from Glynn County Jail.
