Manchester United Nears Transfers Bryan Mbeumo, Hugo Ekitike

Manchester United is actively pursuing Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo despite strong interest from Tottenham Hotspur, who recently appointed Mbeumo's former Brentford manager Thomas Frank. Meanwhile, United is also targeting Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitiké, who remains interested in a move to Old Trafford despite the club's lack of European football next season and a high €100 million release clause. With Tottenham leading the race for Mbeumo, United is considering Johan Bakayoko from PSV Eindhoven as a more affordable alternative to strengthen their attack. United recently signed Matheus Cunha to bolster their forward line, highlighting their focus on increasing goal-scoring options after scoring just 44 Premier League goals last season.
