A 44-year-old man named Santosh Tippanna Bhojgar has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of 63-year-old priest Devendrappa Mahadevappa Vanahalli in Hubballi, Karnataka. Bhojgar allegedly harbored a grudge against Vanahalli due to personal tragedies he believed were caused by the priest's religious rituals. The stabbing occurred on Sunday evening outside the Vaishnodevi temple, where Vanahalli was attacked by Bhojgar, who had previously attempted to murder him in 2022. Following the attack, Bhojgar fled but was apprehended near his home after police received a tip-off. The police have confirmed Bhojgar's confession and are continuing their investigation into the case.
