Meta Restarts AI Training Using UK User Data

Meta Platforms is set to resume training its AI models using public content from adult users on Facebook and Instagram in the UK, following a suspension due to regulatory concerns. This decision comes after positive discussions with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), which has now approved the initiative, providing clarity for Meta's data usage under 'Legitimate Interests'.
