Stellantis Recalls Minivans for Airbag Defect

Chrysler, a Stellantis brand, is recalling over 250,000 Pacifica and Voyager minivans from model years 2022-2025 due to side curtain airbag defects discovered after Transport Canada testing. The airbags may have improperly sealed seams, posing a risk of occupant ejection and injury in a crash due to insufficient protection. No injuries or crashes have been reported so far. The recall extends to vehicles in Canada and Mexico, not just the U.S. Affected owners will receive interim notification letters starting June 30, 2025, with free repairs provided once replacement parts are available. Only minivans built within certain timeframes or with specific airbag modules are included.
