Adidas Unveils 2026 World Cup Ball 'Trionda' Featuring Host Nation Colors

The official match ball for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, named 'Trionda,' has been leaked ahead of its official release. Designed by Adidas, the Trionda's name combines the Spanish words for 'three' and 'wave,' symbolizing the three host nations: the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Its design features red, green, and blue accents representing each country's flag, and the ball consists of just four panels—a significant change from the 20-panel design used in the previous tournament. The Trionda is expected to launch in stores between October and November, retailing for $170. This World Cup marks Adidas's 15th consecutive tournament as the official ball provider and will be the first to feature 48 teams, highlighting the event's expanded and inclusive format.
