Similarly, Ontario, Ohio, moved its trick-or-treating to November 1 because of anticipated rain. The Toms River Fire Company No. 1 Halloween Parade, a significant local event, continues as scheduled on October 31 with November 1 as a rain date, despite the weather disruptions. Officials emphasize safety precautions for children and motorists during these festivities.
