Moonshiners Star Kenny Law Dies at 68

Kenny Law, a prominent figure on Discovery's 'Moonshiners' and a third-generation distiller, passed away at the age of 68. Known for his role in continuing the illegal moonshining tradition in Virginia, he died in a local hospital on January 14, 2025, following complications from heart issues, diabetes, and a blood infection. Law's legacy includes his contributions to the family-run Law's Choice Distillery, which he operated with his cousin Henry Law, perpetuating their ancestor Amos Law's moonshining legacy. The 'Moonshiners' series, launched in 2011, has celebrated the rich tradition of Appalachian moonshining and is a testament to Law's impact on the craft.
