Pere Romeu has been appointed as the new head coach of the Barcelona women's team, succeeding Jonatan Giraldez, who left to coach the Washington Spirit team in the NWSL. Romeu, a former assistant coach, signed a two-year contract and will be supported by Rafel Navarro.
