Producer Shailendra Singh highlighted that convincing Khan to take on this role was significant given his action-hero image, and he noted that the film's climax involves Khan's character dying from the disease. Despite initial discontent from fans regarding the tragic ending, the film successfully spread its message across India. Director Revathi noted that Khan expressed genuine interest in the project, reinforcing his commitment to the cause. Currently, Khan is involved in new projects, including the action-thriller 'Sikandar'.
