Josh Hartnett to Star, Produce Tommy Wirkola's 2026 Action-Thriller

Josh Hartnett is set to star in and produce the upcoming action-thriller All Day & All Night, directed by Tommy Wirkola, who co-wrote the screenplay with John Niven. Hartnett will play Billy Davies, a reformed bank robber who returns to crime to pay for his daughter's Harvard tuition, only to find himself caught on the set of a failing reality TV show during a botched heist. The film explores the tension as Billy tries to escape law enforcement and the mob, while the show's producers strive to keep the broadcast alive to boost ratings. Production is scheduled to begin in 2026, with XYZ Films financing and producing alongside Wirkola and Hartnett. Wirkola, known for the Violent Night and Dead Snow franchises, expressed enthusiasm about working with Hartnett, describing him as an icon and a perfect fit for the project. Hartnett is also currently involved in other projects, including the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's Verity and a Netflix miniseries.
