Police shoot suspect after disturbance at Morgan Hill Safeway

Upon confronting Hillman, officers reported that his actions prompted them to open fire, resulting in Hillman being shot and transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Hillman was arrested and faces multiple felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, and resisting arrest. The person attacked by Hillman also sustained injuries, but no officers were harmed during the incident.
