Tiffany Hayes Named 2024 WNBA Sixth Player

Tiffany Hayes of the Las Vegas Aces has been named the 2024 Kia WNBA Sixth Player of the Year following her impressive performance after coming out of retirement. Averaging 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 33 games, Hayes led all qualified reserves in points per game and total points, scoring 313 throughout the season. She received 38 out of 67 votes from a national media panel, with Leonie Fiebich of the New York Liberty trailing with 21 votes. Hayes, who initially retired in December 2023, was signed by the Aces in May and played a crucial role in revitalizing the team's bench scoring. The Aces are currently competing against the New York Liberty in the semifinals, down 2-1 in the series. This marks the fourth time a player from the Aces has won the award in the past six seasons.
