Inbar Segev-Vigder, a 33-year-old mother, was killed in a terrorist attack in Jaffa, near Tel Aviv, while shielding her 9-month-old son, Ari, from gunfire. Segev-Vigder and six others were murdered when two Palestinian terrorists opened fire and stabbed victims at a train station. The attackers, identified as Muhammad Mask and Ahmed Hamoni, were neutralized by armed civilians and law enforcement. The attack coincided with a barrage of ballistic missiles launched by Iran in retaliation for Israeli actions against Hezbollah. Segev-Vigder's selfless act saved her son's life, leaving the nation in mourning and her son unharmed. Other identified victims included a newlywed dancer, Shahar Goldman, and several others, while at least 16 people were injured.
