ESPN, Fox Launch $39.99 Sports Bundle
ESPN and Fox launched a direct-to-consumer streaming bundle that offers ESPN Unlimited and Fox One for $39.99/month, about $10 (20%) cheaper than subscribing to ESPN Unlimited ($29.99) and Fox One ($19.99) separately. The bundle includes ESPN Unlimited (not ESPN Select), cannot be combined with Disney+ or Hulu, and subscribers access content through each network’s respective app on smart TVs and connected devices with no long-term contracts. The combined offering covers NFL (including Monday Night Football and Fox’s Sunday games), MLB, NBA, college football, NASCAR, the FIFA World Cup, WWE and thousands of live events across both platforms. Executives described the package as an early "crawl/walk/run" step in deeper collaboration that builds on prior work from the planned Venu Sports joint venture (which included Warner Bros. Discovery before that effort was delayed by a Fubo antitrust suit). Neither company has released full subscriber numbers yet, but Fox said initial uptake exceeded internal forecasts and both said the services complement their linear-TV businesses.
