US Marshals Arrest Florida Murder Suspects in Canton, Tallahassee
U.S. Marshals and local law enforcement apprehended two murder suspects following standoffs in Ohio and Florida. In Canton, Ohio, Floyd Jones, wanted for second-degree murder in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and a weapons offense in Carroll County, Ohio, barricaded himself inside a home before being arrested along with Angela Parr, who was wanted for assault. Jones is held in Stark County Jail pending extradition to Florida. Meanwhile, in Tallahassee, Florida, Antonio Demetrius Ewing, wanted for a fatal shooting at Pensacola Village Apartments on May 30, surrendered to marshals after being spotted riding a bike during a raid on a home where he had been staying. Ewing faces charges of second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and will be extradited to Escambia County. Both cases involved coordinated efforts by U.S. Marshals Task Forces and local police departments to ensure public safety and bring the suspects into custody.
