San Jose Holds Special Election for District 3 Council Seat

Voters in San Jose's District 3 are casting their ballots in a special election to fill the council seat vacated by former councilmember Omar Torres, who resigned amid child sex abuse charges. To win outright, a candidate must secure over 50% of the votes; otherwise, the top two will face off in a runoff election scheduled for June.
