Port Adelaide removes Warren Tredrea from board amid antisemitism podcast controversy

The club emphasized that the decision does not reflect on Tredrea’s distinguished playing career, including his role as captain during Port Adelaide’s 2004 AFL premiership. Tredrea expressed concern about the club's actions and indicated he would make further statements in the future. The board concluded that his continuation as a director was not in the best interests of the club after exhausting all avenues for resolution.
