Five Arrested at London Protest of Gadot Film

Five protesters were arrested in London for disrupting the filming of Gal Gadot's movie, The Runner, with police stating the demonstrations were due to Gadot's Israeli nationality and her support for Israel. The Metropolitan Police charged the individuals with harassment and unlawfully obstructing access to a workplace after disruptions at multiple filming sites. Superintendent Neil Holyoak reaffirmed the right to peaceful protest but warned against criminal activity. The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic & Cultural Boycott of Israel has called for boycotts of Gadot's films over her support for Israel's actions in Gaza. Despite the protests and prior disruptions at events such as her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Gadot has resumed filming in London. All arrested protesters remain in custody as the investigation continues.
