Alex indicated that discussions about acknowledging Eddie during performances, similar to how Queen honors Freddie Mercury, led to a significant fallout between him and Roth. Roth reportedly reacted explosively to the suggestion, leading Alex to express his frustration and disappointment in their communication. Additionally, Alex mentioned that he was dealing with a spinal injury that would have hindered his participation in the tour. While Alex remains in contact with Roth, he feels that the essence of the band is irreplaceable, stating that playing old songs would merely feel like a 'jukebox'. The memoir, titled 'Brothers', detailing Alex's life and relationship with Eddie, is set for release on October 22.
