WWE Cancels WrestleMania 2026 in New Orleans, Relocates Event

WWE's WrestleMania 42, originally scheduled for April 2026 at New Orleans' Caesars Superdome, has been canceled and will be relocated to an undisclosed city at a future date. New Orleans officials and WWE confirmed the change without providing a specific reason, but emphasized that the city remains a key partner and will instead host WWE's Money in the Bank event in 2026 as well as UFC 318 in July 2025. The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and New Orleans & Company are working closely with TKO Group Holdings, WWE's parent company, to expand their partnership and reschedule WrestleMania for New Orleans in a future year. This marks the third time WrestleMania was planned for New Orleans, following previous events in 2014 and 2018. WWE has not yet announced the new location or date for WrestleMania 42, though the event traditionally occurs in mid-April. The shift is part of a broader strategic collaboration between WWE, UFC, and New Orleans, ensuring the city continues to host major sporting entertainment events despite the WrestleMania relocation.
