Police seek information after dog theft, woman assaulted in Co Antrim

Derbyshire Police are seeking information after a woman reported that a black Alsatian dog attempted to bite her while off its lead near St John the Baptist Church in Tideswell on January 19. The dog reportedly ran towards her in an aggressive manner before being restrained by its owner, described as a white man in his 30s. In a separate incident, police in Co Antrim are appealing for information regarding a Blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Roxie, which was stolen from a woman who was attacked by a man while walking her dog. The assailant pushed the woman to the ground, stole her engagement ring and bracelet, and fled with the dog. Both police forces encourage anyone with information or relevant CCTV footage to come forward to assist in their investigations.
