Multiple US Educators Charged With Child Sex Crimes Involving Students

Several educators and school staff across different counties have been charged with crimes involving minors in 2025. In Hudson County, Juan Sanchez Moya, a middle school teacher, was arrested for exchanging sexually explicit material with a 17-year-old he met through an online gaming program, though the victim was not a student at his school. In Morris County, Alyssa Perry, a high school teacher and former tutor of the victim, faces charges for explicit contact with a 17-year-old student, leading to her suspension and pre-trial monitoring. In Berks County, Brenden Lindsey, a middle school social worker, has been charged with corruption of minors and indecent exposure after allegedly showing genital images to a 14-year-old student and two 11-year-old girls, as well as inappropriate physical contact. Lindsey was placed on administrative leave and released on bond following the discovery of over 100 explicit images on his phone. These cases highlight ongoing investigations and legal actions against school personnel accused of sexual misconduct involving minors.
