Premier League Announces 15-Player Hall of Fame Shortlist for 2025 Vote

The Premier League has announced a star-studded shortlist of 15 former players for the 2025 Hall of Fame induction, featuring legends from 19 clubs who collectively have 1,098 Premier League goals and over 5,000 appearances. Notable nominees include Manchester United icons Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Michael Carrick, Patrice Evra, Teddy Sheringham, and goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, alongside Chelsea stars Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas, Arsenal's Sol Campbell, Liverpool’s Michael Owen and Robbie Fowler, and Manchester City's Yaya Toure and David Silva. Fans worldwide can vote for two inductees via the Premier League website and app until September 15, with the final decision made by current Hall of Fame members. The Hall of Fame, established in 2021, honors players who have made significant contributions to the league, with current members including Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, and Sir Alex Ferguson. Inductees receive a personalized medallion and can choose a charity to receive a £10,000 donation. The two new members will be revealed at an exclusive event on November 4, 2025.
