Nigerian Air Force Kills 35 Terrorists Near Cameroon Border

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) conducted precision airstrikes under Operation Hadin Kai near the Nigeria-Cameroon border, killing over 35 terrorists who had gathered to launch attacks on ground troops. Acting on multiple intelligence sources, the air component targeted four assembly points in successive strikes, stabilizing the area and restoring communication with ground forces. This operation is part of an intensified campaign in the northeast to disrupt terrorist logistics and movement corridors, following a recent report of 592 militants killed in the region over eight months. Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame emphasized the NAF's commitment to providing close air support and conducting intelligence-driven operations. Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, commended the professionalism of the aircrew and reaffirmed the Air Force's resolve to continue aggressive operations until terrorist threats to Nigeria's sovereignty are dismantled.
