Manchester Terrorist Attack Kills Two, Police Fire Shots, Three Arrested

A terrorist attack occurred outside the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester on Yom Kippur, resulting in the deaths of two Jewish men, Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz, and injuries to several others. The attacker, identified as Jihad Al-Shamie, a British citizen of Syrian descent, used a vehicle to ram into people and then proceeded with a stabbing attack before being shot dead by police. A government pathologist has provisionally determined that one of the victims may have died from a gunshot wound inflicted by police, as the attacker was not in possession of a firearm.
