Wilmington Police Search for Two Homicide Suspects

Wilmington police are investigating the murder of 63-year-old Cedric Adkins, who was found stabbed to death in a wooded area on May 2, 2025. Tyler Collins and Austin Ziglar have been charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon, with warrants alleging they stabbed Adkins and stole his cell phone. Both suspects made their first court appearances and are being held without bond as the case proceeds. Police have also identified two additional suspects, Dylan Inman and Marissa Reynolds, who remain at large and are wanted on murder charges.
