New Details Emerge in Berlin Murder-Suicide Case

Police are investigating a murder-suicide at La Casita restaurant in Berlin, New Hampshire, where employee Sandra Marisol Fuentes Huaracha, 25, was found dead behind the bar from multiple shotgun wounds. Fifty-year-old Michael Gleason Jr. was discovered in the bathroom with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and both individuals had a prior domestic relationship. Autopsies determined Fuentes Huaracha’s death was a homicide and Gleason’s a suicide. Authorities confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public. Memorials have been set up for Fuentes Huaracha, recognized for her community involvement. Reports also revealed Gleason had prior charges of kidnapping and sexual assault and had recently been released on bail with a no-contact order.
