NASCAR Announces 2026 Hall of Fame Nominees

The NASCAR Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2026 nominees, including first-time Modern Era candidates Kurt Busch and Randy LaJoie, both recognized among NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers. The Modern Era ballot features Busch, LaJoie, Greg Biffle, Jeff Burton, Neil Bonnett, and Harry Gant, with only two to be inducted. The Pioneer Era ballot includes figures like crew chief Jake Elder and driver Ray Hendrick, with one inductee to be selected. H.A. 'Humpy' Wheeler, known for his promotional innovations at Charlotte Motor Speedway, is nominated for the Landmark Award for outstanding contributions to NASCAR. Fan voting is open until May 18, 2025, and will count as a single collective vote alongside the official panel. The final selection will be made by the voting panel on May 20, 2025.
