Halsey Prepares for Album Release, Channels Springsteen

Halsey is set to release her fifth album, The Great Impersonator, on October 25, and is celebrating her New Jersey roots by channeling iconic musicians leading up to the launch. Her latest tribute features Bruce Springsteen, where she recreates a famous photo from his 'Born in the U.S.A.' era, reflecting her admiration for the rock legend. The eighth track on the album, 'Letter to God (1983)', is inspired by Springsteen, and Halsey emphasizes her connection to him, stating, 'This one requires no explanation, I’m a Jersey girl.' Throughout October, she has also impersonated other notable artists including David Bowie, Dolly Parton, and Stevie Nicks, showcasing the diverse influences on her music. The album promises to explore various musical styles and includes previously released singles like 'The End' and 'Lucky'. This project marks Halsey's first album since 2021's If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
