Airport Dimensions expands lounge network in Indonesia, adds 11 locations

Collinson Group's Airport Dimensions has expanded into Indonesia by acquiring a 45% stake in Blue Sky Group's subsidiary, PT Bumi Liputan Angkasa, significantly increasing its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. This partnership will add 11 new airport lounges across key locations, including Jakarta, Bali, and Surabaya, with the first project being a new lounge at Makassar Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, set to open later this year. Airport Dimensions aims to leverage its global expertise alongside Blue Sky's local knowledge to enhance the passenger experience in one of the world's fastest-growing aviation markets. President Errol McGlothan emphasized the immense opportunities in Indonesia's aviation sector, driven by tourism and foreign investment, as a key factor in this expansion. The collaboration follows Airport Dimensions' recent successful entries into Hong Kong and Vietnam, underscoring its strategy to offer bespoke airport experiences across the region. This investment marks a significant milestone in Airport Dimensions' ongoing growth across the Asia-Pacific market.
