Three Teens Charged with Arson in Table Rock Fire

Three teenagers, Nyzaire Jah-Neiz Marsh, 19, Tristan Tyler, 18, and Isaac Wilson, 18, have been arrested in connection with a 13,000-acre wildfire at Table Rock State Park in South Carolina. Authorities allege that the fire began on March 21 when the suspects were smoking along a hiking trail and failed to properly extinguish their cigarettes. The fire spread to Persimmon Ridge, burning over 12,500 acres, marking it as the largest mountain wildfire in South Carolina's history. A juvenile involved was also charged but released into parental custody. All three teens were charged with arson and negligently allowing a fire to spread, and they were released on a $7,500 bond each. The Table Rock State Park remains partially closed for safety evaluations.
