Gas Prices Decline Across Multiple States

Gas prices across the United States have continued to decline, with the national average dropping 2.6 cents to $3.03 per gallon, marking the fourth consecutive week of decreases. In Ohio, the average price fell to $2.84, while in Michigan, the average price is now $3.04, both reflecting significant drops since last month. GasBuddy's Patrick DeHaan noted that rising gasoline stocks and lower demand are contributing factors to this trend. Meanwhile, Pennsylvania's average price decreased by 3.2 cents, averaging $3.27, with some local stations offering prices as low as $2.85. The outlook suggests that prices may continue to drop as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, potentially reaching their lowest levels since 2020. This trend indicates a broader easing of gas prices, providing financial relief for consumers as they prepare for holiday travel.
