Pipeline Leak in Malaysia Injures Over 100
A massive fire erupted in Putra Heights, Selangor, Malaysia, due to a gas pipeline leak from Petronas, injuring over 100 people and causing significant property damage. The blaze, which started around 8:10 AM, affected over 200 residential and commercial properties and destroyed 225 vehicles. Authorities, including Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, arrived at the scene to oversee rescue operations. Emergency medical teams from various hospitals in the Klang Valley have been activated to treat the injured at nearby medical facilities. No fatalities have been reported, but the fire has led to evacuations, with temporary shelters set up at local mosques for displaced residents. Petronas has isolated the affected pipeline, and firefighting efforts are ongoing to bring the situation under control.
